Re-Thinking

Likely, the first thing that comes to mind when you think of exercise is an image of grueling workouts that are approached with all of the anticipation of a root canal. However, to get benefits from exercise, it doesn't have to be repetitive, over-exerting, or boring.

Fortunately, the human body was designed for exercise. The skeleton, joints, and muscles are all intended for movement and indeed, they depend on regular exercise to keep them in good working condition.

And movement, just like nutrition, has its part in maintaining optimal health; most notably in fuel management which, in turn, regulates energy supply.

Essentially, there are three very important things to remember about exercise in order for it to be effective.

When you exercise is as critical as how long you exercise. Moreover, how often you exercise will depend a great deal on whether or not you enjoy it. If you find yourself dreading it, you'll no doubt postpone it but if you find yourself looking forward to it, you'll find ways to prioritize it into your lifestyle.

Fortunately, there are several different options available so choose what is most comfortable for you and plan it into your week.
